Very interesting column from Archimag denouncing Microsoft's control on the French public service.

However, alternatives exist: relevant and often much less expensive, offering the essential features of document management and sharing, research, simultaneous editing in a Collaborative Office Suite, BPM-workflows, videoconferencing, etc.
